Homeopathy is the name of the medical field which is derived from a Greek word. In science its meaning is “Like Disease”. The homeopathy treatment mode is a way of substances that identifies the symptoms of a disease and have a curative effect on a sick person, when the medicine is given in very dilute quantities. The homeopathic treatment has been established in the 18th century and has proven to be effective, curative and safe. It holds the natural response system of the body by attacking the root causes of diseases and also encourages the symptoms of healing. Hence this method of treatment has the power to completely cure an illness.
The homeopathic medicines are non-toxic and don’t have any deities. This medicine can enhance the immunity power of the body. It uses very small doses of medicine that stimulate the immune system of the body which helps in healing the diseases of the patients naturally. The treatment is based on to cure disease as per their individual needs. The homeopathic doctor concentrates on to cure the patient’s disease not only physically, but also mentally and emotionally. The homeopathic Treatment is very effective in many medical conditions such as headache, infections, allergies, cold, flu, heart disease, diabetes, nervous and respiratory disorder etc.
Homeopathic is typically called as a nontoxic natural way and it uses very small quantities of medicine which contains a curative form of side effect. The homeopathic treatment gives importance to yoga and meditation. It makes a good treatment option for children. The main disadvantages of using this medicine are, it would take some time to cure the diseases and also it doesn’t always help during emergency conditions.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF UNDER GRADUATE HOMEOPATHY COURSE IN INDIA
One should have completed a Higher Secondary (School) Certificate (HSC) or (10+2, or high school) with the Science stream, including the subjects Biology, Chemistry and Physics with minimum 50% Marks aggregate for General and EWS Category and 40% for Reserved Category (SC, ST, SEBC).
English as one of the subject and have passed in that.
17 years of age must be completed by 31st December in the year of admission.
Blind (including colour blind), deaf and/or dumb candidates are not be allowed for admission.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA OF POST GRADUATE HOMEOPATHY COURSE IN INDIA
Candidates in possession of BHMS degree or Provisional BHMS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the IMCC 1970/HCC 1973 Act
Possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of BHMS degree qualification issued by the CCIM/CCH/state board/universities/deemed universities.
Completed one year of internship or/are likely to complete the internship before 30th September in the year of admission or date as specified by Ministry of AYUSH.
